News & Events

Earlier this summer Ventenata was found  on the roadside of Highway 120 in Park County. It has yet to be recorded in Hot Springs County, but it is moving closer and unknown populations may exist. Early detection is very important to keep this grass from spreading across the county into costly infestations.

This informational workshop on the 28th in Meeteetse is being held to help landowners, producers, and others in the area learn how to recognize and respond to this highly invasive annual grass.
